Circle Of Giving

Central Union Mission’s Circle of Giving honors our most distinguished donors who provide crucial support for men, women and children in our city each year.

Your generous gifts at any level within the Circle of Giving place you in a group with others who are committed to helping our neighbors break the cycle of poverty, addiction and hopelessness.

Our Circle of Giving’s five levels offer a variety of benefits, including invitations to exclusive events within your giving circle and opportunities for recognition each year. For more information about joining the Circle of Giving, contact Deborah Chambers dchambers@missiondc.org

Visionary donors are our most elite donors who help cast the vision for our future. They envision ways to improve our ministry by adding new programs, improving our services, building and/or renovating facilities and partnering with the community to transform lives. Visionaries are the catalysts who help us to dream, to formulate plans and to raise the funds to make those dreams a reality.

Champion donors are champions for our cause. Their generous donations fund the vital programs and services that transform lives every day. Champion donors provide Licensed Clinical Supervisors and Certified Substance Abuse Counselors, as well as continuing education and job readiness programs. Champions care deeply about addressing the root causes of addiction and poverty in our community. They are champions in the eyes of the men, women, and children we serve each year.

Samaritan donors, like the biblical Good Samaritan, don’t walk past a neighbor in need—they stop and help. Samaritans go out of their way to understand the complex needs of the men and women we serve. They provide life-saving assistance to meet the immediate needs of food and shelter, as well as the long-term needs of counseling, education and life-transformation. Samaritans ensure that every person who comes through our doors has the opportunity to become a contributing member of society.

Partner donors are more than just fans of Central Union Mission. They are true partners because they show up month after month, year after year, and walk alongside our staff to provide essential services to men, women, and children. Partners don’t just provide meals and safe shelter; they provide professional counseling and specialized care needed to transform lives from the inside out.

Advocate donors support our mission through financial donations and unwavering advocacy in our community. Advocates understand that we need both funding and volunteers to best serve our residents. They help share our stories with others and are deeply invested in our cause. Through their support, they serve as advocates for people in our community who often have no voice. Advocates stand beside our men and women offering a message of hope.
